Obituary for Freddie Ochoa

Freddie Ochoa, 70, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Waco, with Father Cyril as celebrant. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home by Deacon Greg George.

Freddie was born in Burlington, Tex., to Frances and Luther Ochoa. He served in the National Guard for 15 years. He worked at General Tire for 13 years, then was a truck driver until he retired last year. Freddie enjoyed pool, fishing, and most importantly spending time with his family. He was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brother, Alex Ochoa and Joe Sanchez; and two sisters, Cecilia Gonzales and Lois Ceserez.

He is survived by his son, Lance Ochoa and wife, Jeri; daughter, Alicia Ochoa; grandchildren, Chris, Haley, Levi, Desi, and Dayton Ochoa, Amber Mabry and husband, Cody, and Haley Gonzales; and great-grandchildren, Candace, Taylor, and Fae Mabry; sisters, Angel DeYoung, Gloria Harris, and Rita Ramirez; and brother, Mike Ochoa.

Pallbearers will be Cody Mabry, Dayton Ochoa, Steve C. Ochoa, Stevie Ochoa, Randy DeYoung, Andrew Ramirez, and Levi Ochoa.
