The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Niemeyer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: SO sorry for your loss! Uncle Dick was my mother's (Shirley's) brother. I only met him once or twice but I remember his wonderful smile (the same one posted in the picture here). Some forget that Shirley, Richard, and their little sister Carol's mother - Elizabeth - was killed by a drunk driver when the 3 kids were under the age of 13. Then the Niemeyer family lost Carol hours after she gave birth to cousin Michael (around 1959 or so). So God bless Richard and all of his family, both past and present. You are in our prayers! Love, Catherine, Sean, and especially Shirley Niemeyer Wilson xoxo

Condolence: I worked with Dick at MDC in Tulsa for many years. I'm with you through your sorrow. I'm sure I am just one of the many people Dick befriended during his long and event filled life who will be remembering Dick as a loving husband and father. Bill Johnson
