Mary Allison Ickert
February 27, 1925 – October 13, 2007

Mary Ickert, 82, of Waco, died Saturday at a local care center.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mary was born February 27, 1925 in Center Texas. She moved to Waco and worked as a Secretary and Bookkeeper at General Tire, Rountree Olds-Cadillac, National Building Center, Boise Cascade and most recently at First Lutheran Christian Church until her retirement.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ophelia Arnold; her first husband, Byron H. Allison; a sister, Gay Rushing and a brother, Lamar Arnold.

Mary is survived by her husband Melvin; son William (Bill) Allison; granddaughter Brooke Allison all of Waco and her great niece Michelle Murphy of Palestine.
