The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugene Ives can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Patti Smith
Condolence: Gene Ives was the most kindest, dearest and honest man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He's a man who adored his wife Mary Jane, and worshipped his Lord with a whole, devoted heart. I will ALWAYS have wonderful memories of this amazing man and my years I spent at First Assembly were wonderful and part of my heart for loving my God was thru HIS (Gene's) love for Jesus. God bless each and everyone of the family. Gene and Mary Jane are together again, but now standing with Jesus. What a comfort we should all take in that.

Condolence: I was Mr. Ives's neighbor. He has always really nice to me and my sister. I remember getting in the car for school and seeing him. When I came back home, there was an ambulance outside his house, and my mom told me he had died. I WAS SO SAD!!!
