Obituary for Shirley Jeanette Anaya

Shirley Jeanette Anaya, 81, of Waco, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 17,2016, surrounded by family.

Jeanette was born March 5,1935 in Mount Calm, TX to the late Alva and Opal Wiley. Jeanette will always be remembered by her family and friends as kind, loving, cheerful, dependable, strong Christian woman. Her departure has truly left a void that cannot be filled. We love you and miss you Mom, Aunt, Grandmom, Gigi, Sister, and friend.

Jeanette is survived by her 2 stepchildren, Rosie Ozuna from Fort Worth and Mary Rodriquez of Waco; her sister and brother in-law, Janelle and Richard Dittrich of Clifton; her son and daughter-in-law, Ricardo and Tiffany Rodriquez of Deatsville,Al; 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 niece and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Anaya; and step son Robert “Bobby’ Anaya.

The family will receive friends at Oakcrest Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calm Cemetery.
