Dorothy Jurecka, 90, of Lake Jackson passed away on July 14, 2016. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday July 19th at St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco, TX. OakCrest Funeral Home of Waco is handling the Waco arrangements.

Rosary and visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday July 17th.

Mrs. Jurecka was born in Hallsburg, TX on March 3, 1926 to Adolph and Annie Bordovsky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. Jurecka.

She was also preceded by her siblings Adolph Bordovsky, Olene Bordovsky, Frances Bordovsky, Billy Bordovsky, Julia Bordovsky, Robert Bordovsky, Mary Hudec, and Joseph Hudec.

Survivors include daughter MaryAnn Cloyd of New York, son Thomas Jurecka and wife Susan of Lake Jackson. Grandchildren Michael and wife Kristy of Brazoria, TX, Cecilie and Kendall of Lake Jackson, TX. She is also survived by her siblings Hellen Margaurite Brinkley of Fort Worth, TX, and Theodore Bordovsky of Axtell, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Bonds, Dennis Bordovsky, Harold Bordovsky, Robert Dean Bordovsky, and Wendel Bordovsky.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX 75219.
