Kellie Lee Coffee Rye

Kellie Lee Coffee Rye, 58, Temple, TX was called to Heaven while at Providence Hospice Care Waco, TX after a long fight with cancer on October 28, 2016.

Kellie was born on August 8, 1958 to Cecil Eugene and Ruby Nell (Mitchell) Coffee
In Highland Park, Michigan.

Kellie was married to Frederick Douglas Rye Major USAF (ret) in Destin, FL in 2000.
As a holistic drugless practitioner, Kellie provided nutritional and inspirational counseling to her clients. Often times pro bono.

All who knew Kellie were moved by her kindness, gentleness, and sincerity. Her love was unconditional. She lived her life as a testament and reflection of her faith and trust in God.

Kellie is survived by her husband, father stepmother (Janie Coffee), mother and stepfather (Bart Bartlett), loving daughter Litza Matthews, stepsons Erik, Austin, and Alexander Rye, sisters Jamie, Mary, brother Steve Coffee, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces to numerous to mention each by name that she dearly loved.

Viewing will be on Sunday October 30 from 5-7pm at Oak Crest Funeral Home Waco, TX with a graveside eulogy at Oakwood Cemetery Waco, TX on Monday October 31 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution in Kellie’s name be made to Providence Hospice Waco, TX.

We rejoice in Kellie’s life knowing she is at peace with the Lord.
