Obituary for Norman Lamb

Norman Lamb was healed in Heaven after a long battle with Parkinsons on Nov. 7, 2016 in Waco, Texas. He was 86.

Norman was born in Long Beach, CA on February 16, 1930, to Edward and Irene Lamb. He graduated from Baylor University in 1953. He was introduced to his future wife Ann through their voice teacher when they were asked to sing a duet together. They married two years later and began their 60 plus years of singing together professionally, for pleasure, and for the Lord.

Norm and Ann raised their two children in Vail, Colorado where he was involved in the Rotary Club and in the Vail Community Chorale under the direction of his wife ,Ann. After moving back to Texas, he was actively involved in many organizations including The Baylor University Singing Seniors, Promise Keepers, The Gideons, the Jesus Video Project and his radio program, the Silver Eagles Report.

Norman loved people, entertaining, and his family most of all.

Norman is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Lamb; his daughter Heather Tepe and husband Mike, his son, Scott Lamb and wife, Devin; Grandchildren, Victoria and Audrey Tepe, and Emily and Kelly Lamb. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

A celebration of his life will be held at Park Lake Baptist Church on Friday, November 11th at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will on Thursday from 3 to 5 at Oakcrest funeral Home.
