Obituary for Rose Anne Glassen

Rose-Anne Glassen, 71, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Rose-Anne was born September 14, 1945 in Elmira, New York to Leon Bancroft Williams and Edna Mae Evans Williams. She graduated from Odessa-Montour Central in Odessa, New York. She worked as a librarian at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York as well as in various department stores in Ithaca and Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, she met and married Matthew T. Glassen on December 8, 1984. They later were transferred to Waco where Rose-Anne worked for L-3 Communications, retiring after 27 years of service.
Rose-Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of nearly 32 years, Matthew T. Glassen of Waco; daughter, Toni Ribbins of Phenix City, Alabama; step-children, Cheryl Jones of Dallas, and Thomas Glassen of Plano; five grandchildren; and sisters, Carol Lee Cisco of Plano, Francie Vickio of Lewes, Delaware, Helen Coleman of Corning, New York, Kathy Kelley of Richmond, Virginia, and Ennie Lattin of Montour Falls, New York.
