Condolence: I don’t know if any of the family will see this since it’s been so many years..I worked with Ms. Ruby at Penland Hall for abiout 5 years, we worked side by side as cashiers, during those years we learn a lot about each other’s lives and I developed a strong bond with Ms. Ruby, in fact when I had decided that I was going to do foster care, she was one of the ones who I was fortunate enough to have for a reference, she came out to my home and met my family and I had respected her since that time, she shared with me her many train trips to different areas and I enjoyed going down memory lane with her, I was younger than she so she gave me a lot of tips of what laid ahead in life and I must say she was correct, when I left Baylor to go to nursing school I would still stay in touch with Ms. Ruby from time to time, I am so sad that I didn’t know that she had passed, I would have been there if I had known, I offer my belated heartfelt condolences to the family and may GOD bless and keep you.

Condolence: Ms. Ruby was one of my best friends. I adored her and we shared much time together talking, laughing, and sharing stories. I admired her so much and loved spending part of each day with her. Most evening I would check in with her to get my hug. She loves hugs. Betty & Joe and family, I am terrible sorry for your loss. She was such a treasure, such a light and I am so honored that she loved me. Truly the Best Lady I have ever known.

Condolence: We met Ravishing Ruby at the Wednesday jam session, Fountainbleu apartments several months ago. She was so sweet to all of us and we all just fell in love with her. She loved to hear us sing and play that song "Ravishing Ruby" for her. We will never forget this wonderful woman and we send our sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence: Mrs. Padgett was such a sweet and special lady. I enjoyed all of the phone calls that we were able to make over the years and talking about our kids and grandkids. So thankful that years again Mr. Padgett were part of Beverly Hills Baptist Church so we came to know both of them. They will be missed by all who knew them. May God Bless you.
