Lorraine Trzcinski of Robinson died Tuesday, Jan. 10. Mass of Christian Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at St. Jerome Catholic Church followed by burial at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Lorraine was born in England, the only child of Percy and May Dibble. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper before marrying Francis Trzcinski, her husband of 58 years. She came to the United States in 1959 and lived in Nebraska, Idaho, New Jersey and Kansas before coming to Waco in 1971. She worked for Avon for many years and also in ladies’ apparel, but her main job was homemaker.

She was a member and past president of the Waco Ladies of Charity, their representative at the Waco VA for many years, and she also volunteered at Caritas and Providence Hospital. She was a longtime member of the Brittania Club.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Stephen Trzcinski; daughter, Leslie Trzcinski and John Porter; three grandchildren, Christian Trzcinski, Nikkie and Miguel Cruz; and two great-granddaughters, Angelina and Serenity.

Memorials may be made to the Waco Ladies of Charity or a charity of your choice.
