Bernice Rivera
Bernice Rivera, 51, of Waco, Texas passed away January 25, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Monday, January 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Sunday, January 29,2017, with Rosary Service at 7 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Bernice was born June 10, 1965 in San Angelo, Texas, to Paul Rivera, Sr., and Gloria Lugo Espinoza. Bernice graduated from University High School and attended business college. She was a loving and caring daughter and mother. She enjoyed being with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her step-father Rudolph G. Espinoza.

Bernice is survived by her parents, children, Arianna Rivera and Benjamin Rivera Garza; sister, Venessa Rivera of Waco, Texas and brother, Paul Edward Rivera, Jr. of Irving, Texas; nieces and nephews who were very close to Bernice, Joe Jamie Vela, Matthew Ray Vela, Monique Melendez, and Alayla Jamie Vela, as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins, and special friend Jesus Garza.
