Wilma E.  Shumate
Wilma E. Shumate, 89, of Waco, Texas, passed away, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017, at OakCrest Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Shumate was born August 14, 1927, to Thomas and Gladys (Walker) Mosley, in Ada, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Scarborough; sister, Mazel Walker; brother, T. E. Mosley.

Mrs. Shumate is survived by her loving husband, Ralph E. Shumate; daughters, Linda Underwood of Hewitt, Texas, Ellen Self and husband, Cecil, of China Spring, Texas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Worthen of Odessa, Texas; brother, Buddy Mosley and wife, Jane, of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law, Wanda Lippert of Hewitt, Texas.
