In high school she played doubles tennis winning many school and City of Waco tournaments as well as qualifying for state. Later she competed in team roping attending events around the country and gathered another roping family who loved her dearly. She also volunteered each year as an ambassador at the HOT Rodeo.
She was a huge fan of Chi-fil-a and ate lunch there almost daily.
