Theodore J.  Bianchi Jr.
Theodore Jacob Bianchi, Jr. departed for his heavenly home on Saturday May 27, 2017 with his wife Emma by his side. A celebration service will be held at Highland Baptist Church, 3014 Maple Ave., at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, with a graveside service following at the Oakwood Cemetery, Waco. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, at OakCrest Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ted was born February 16, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Theodore and Louise Bianchi. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and Texas A&M University with both, BA in Business Administration and Master's in Finance. He was married for 57 years to his high school sweetheart, Emma.

Ted retired in 2002 from Texas Life Insurance as Vice President of Underwriting and New Business where he was esteemed by his many associates.

Ted was a steadfast Christian. He was a Deacon at Highland Baptist, Waco, and an elder at Casa Linda Presbyterian, Dallas. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He often attended A&M sporting events and enjoyed taking his grandsons along whenever possible. He also happily spent time with friends on the golf course.

Ted is survived by his wife, Emma; children, Lisa Lovinggood and husband, Brad, and their son, Kyle Lovinggood and wife Tiffany, and other son, Dawson Lovinggood; Jeff Bianchi and wife, Sarah, and their children, Jude, Jake, Liv and Lux Bianchi; brother, Bob Bianchi and wife, Barbara; aunt, Elizabeth Bianchi; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church Building Fund.
