Obituary for Leslie Jo Carrigan

Leslie Jo Carrigan, 82, of Woodway, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 21, at Waco Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bryan Patrick. A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 20, at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Jo was born in Waco to Leslie P. and Claudia M. Moran Crook. She retired from Medical Lab Met West and Sero Labs. She was a member of Woodway First United Methodist Church.

She married the love of her life, Ralph Carrigan, on December 21, 1953.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Jo is survived by her sons, Monty Carrigan and wife, Marlene, and Mickey Carrigan and wife, Rhonda, all of Waco; daughter, Kay Lott and husband, Craig, of Woodway; sister-in-law, Doe Cantrell and husband, Norm, of Houston; and grandchildren, Candis Carrigan, Teresa Howard, Zachary, Tyler Carrigan, Brandi and Clint Lott, and Kevin Mathis; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed in Jo's name to the Woodway First United Methodist Church.
