12 years later and I still talk about Dr. Hillis' classes. I loved his classes so much I held onto the textbooks all these years later and was convinced I was destined to be an infectious disease doctor. Dr. Hillis challenged and inspired me beyond words and I don't think I would have made it into medical school without him. I'll always remember him fondly and the profound impact he had on my education and my career.
