David Vasquez went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 2, 2018.
David was born May 2, 1962 to Julian and Leonor G. Vasquez in Waco, Texas. When David was younger he played Pee Wee football for Pop Warner. David attended Waco Schools and graduated from Jefferson Moore in 1980. He went to Vogue Cosmetology and received his license to do hair. David never met a stanger, he had a great sense of humor and loved life. He used to work at Word Inc., Captain Billy Whizzbang’s and Buckeye Bingo.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Leonor, nephew, niece and brother in law.
He is survived by his father, Julian Vasquez; sisters, Dolores Romo, Diana and Gilbert Alvarado, Jr., Cynthia and Gilbert G. Mendoza, and Anita J. Vasquez, all of Waco; his lifelong partner, Jason House; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and his Buckeye family.
David will surely be missed by all. We love you Shorty, rest in peace and enjoy Heaven with mom.
