The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alvin Sykora can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My condolences to the Sykora family tree at this time of the passing of your treasured relative and a truly outstanding gentleman. We were brother Knight's in Council 1358. His smiling face gave me a lift every time we were at a meeting together. He worked hard for the Council and always as a gentleman. There's no need to say he was a family man. He simply lived that in a very obvious way. I've lived in Waco for only about 40 years and have met a lot of fine people during that time. Right up there to the top is Alvin Sykora.
