Beverly Ann Luft Young
November 23, 1938 - April 22, 2016


Beverly Ann Young passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at the age of 77. Graveside services will be Monday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Danny Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Beverly was born in Waco and graduated from Waco High School in 1957. She married James Young and they lived in several cities before retiring back in Waco. Beverly was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, a lifetime member of PTA and a former member of Texas Association of Public Accounting.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. As long as she was able, she attended all the activities her family members were involved in.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, James, who passed away in January of 2015 and her granddaughter, Elizabeth, who passed away in November of 2014.

Beverly is survived by three children, Darlena Wyrick of China Spring, Laurie Smith and husband, Duncan of Atlanta, GA, and Michelle Arney and husband, Doug of Eddy, TX; grandchildren, David Kirkpatrick and wife, Brandi, James Kirkpatrick, Candy Edinburgh, Felicia Hollins, and Austin and Cory Arney; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jackson, Bryson Kirkpatrick, Colten and Cameron Kirkpatrick, Gavin and Genevieve Edinburgh, and Skylar Huffman; siblings, Keith and Brenda Luft of Plano, Gary and Bonnie Luft of Woodway, and Virginia Crow of Murchinson; as well as many nieces and nephews of whom she loved dearly.
