Condolence From: Joey and Sue Sudduth
Condolence: It has been said that a measure of a man is those he left behind. Clearly, Dr. Helm was a wonderful man based on knowing you, Mark, these last thirty plus years. You in turn, along with Gina, raised two wonderful sons.

His family was blessed to have him here for such a long life. Thankfully, he was not sick long before he passed. Mark, you were a loving son who spent every moment with him until the end. Not many are granted that privlege. We know it will take a great deal of time to mourn such a loving father. No matter our age, the loss of a parent is so very difficult but we hope you find comfort in sweet memories. Gina, David and Ryan -- you were so fortunate to have him in your lives for such a long time. We wish all of you the same comfort in sharing fond memories and great love in the days ahead. To the remaining family members, may you also be blessed with comfort and the joy of sweet memories.

Love always, Sue and Joey Sudduth

Condolence: When I was little kid, I looked forward to going to the dentist. Dr. George would always talk about chasing germs around in my mouth while he hunted them down and destroyed them.

Later, Dr. George and Lee would come to our farm in Bosqueville and go rat hunting in our barn. The barn had several rooms for grain storage and a hay loft. We would make several circuits from room to room to loft before we would quit seeing our game animals. I know we killed well over a thousand rats during this time.

My mother and our whole family appreciated the opportunity for her to work in the Dentist Office for so many years.

My sincerest condolences to Dr. George's family.

Condolence: Uncle Bubba was able to make me laugh even when I was in the dental chair. I remember that he was always smiling, happy and telling stories. He had the ability to spread happiness and generate smiles to all of those around him. I remember his trip to South Texas in 2010 to visit my mom and the rest of our family. Mom was so happy to be able to see her brother. He was full of life. Lee and Mark, you are in my thoughts.

Condolence From: Sandy Helm Summers
Condolence: There are so many things I want to say about Uncle George, but they would never all fit in this space. The Mart farm, of course, is the most vivid. The skeet shooting at Axtel, the skiing, or trying, on the Lake. The trips to Rockport, the Christmas Holidays, and the summer of 1966 when I "worked" at the office. Lee, and the rest of my cousins and their wives, there are no words to say at times like these. You all know your Dad was an amazing man. His smile and his laughter is what I will hold in my heart. May God be with you and the rest of us who mourn. Love to you all,
Sandy

Condolence: So many good memories of dove hunting with George and Lee. When my sons were young, we spent many Saturday mornings fishing at Axtell or Mart. George was a very good man and so kind.
