Billie Rae Donley, 88, of Waco, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2017, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Graveside services will be be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 5, at Rosemound Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.
Billie Rae was born on January 11, 1929, in Waco, to Jack and Margaret Bowen. She graduated from Waco High School and later worked at Beall’s Department Store for many years. Billie was a member of Seventh & James Baptist Church.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Donley; and both of her sons, Bruce and Michael Donley.
Survivors include grandchildren, Crystale Rae Etchison and husband, Shawn of Robinson, Callie Paige Donley of Washington (state), and Chad Bowen Donley of Kentucky; great-grandchildren, Brittany Etchison, Riley Etchison, Steven Etchison and wife, Madelyn, and Jeffrey Etchison; great-great grandchildren, Kaia Reed, Ana and Lexi Etchison; and her two loving caregivers, Wanda Lynch and Suzie Brown, mothers of her grandchildren.
