Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Father Lawrence Solar officiating. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel.

Alfred was born in Moody, Texas on July 2, 1935 to Jose Becerra and Maria Reyna.

He served in the United States Army. He returned to Waco where he worked over the years at Barsh Construction Company, Lipsitz & Co., Young Bros. Construction and most recently at the New Road Inn where he worked in the maintenance department.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister; two brothers; his son Michael; one grandson and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Vidalina Perea; three daughters, Deborah Becerra, Regina Becerra and Gloria Jean Becerra all of Waco; two sons, Albert Rodriguez and Anthony Becerra both of Waco; three brothers, David Becerra and Roman Becerra both of Waco and Martin Becerra of Chile; five sisters, Emilia Gonzales, Eloisa Ochoa and Noemi Ruiz all of Waco, Ruth Sustaita of San Jose, California and Blanca Salas of Abbott, Texas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
