Alice Ann Cooley, 67, of Waco passed away October 9 at home with her family. Private family services were held at OakCrest Funeral Home per her wishes.
Alice was born April 5, 1937 to Theodore and Ethel Seamon. She married then later divorced William Cooley after having two daughters. She worked for Swingster as a seamstress until she retired. She met her long-time love Richard Giles and remained with him until he passed away. She then moved to Texas to be with her daughter's family.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, her baby girl Francine Jeannine and her love Richard Giles.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Carol Hershley; granddaughters, Christy Sparks, Melissa Hershley, Kylie Hershley; grandson, Zacary Hershley of Waco; great-grandsons, Andrew and Toby Usher of Platte City, Mo; 2 sisters, Carol Barbara of California and Judy Rosenthal of Nebraska; 2 brothers and their wives, Lloyd and Linda Seamon and Thomas and Kay Seamon, both of Leavenworth, Kan., and several nieces and nephews.
