Amber Rose Olsen, 31, of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. The visitation will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, at OakCrest Funeral Home followed at 7 p.m. with a Memorial Service honoring her life. A private family burial will be held later. The family asks that those attending please wear a mask.
Amber was born February 7, 1990, in Waco, TX to Remle and Rosemary Olsen. Amber grew up with one sister, Ashley, whom she absolutely adored.
Amber was employed at American Income Life Insurance, which she loved. Amber enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In Amber’s free time she enjoyed watching her favorite TV show “Friends” and spending time with her precious dog, Lila, who she loved dearly. Amber was a huge Selena fan and loved sunflowers.
Amber had a heart of gold and could make anyone’s bad day into a great one just with her infectious smile and laugh.
Amber enjoyed the small things in life and never took anyone or anything for granted. Amber truly knew how to make her friends feel like family and made sure everyone around her felt important. Her selflessness has been witnessed and loved by so many and she will be missed dearly.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Remle Olsen; grandmother, Jean Dickenson; and great-grandparents, Elmer and Julia Olsen.
Amber is survived by her mother, Rosemary Olsen; sister, Ashley Martin and husband, Benjamin Martin; grandparents, Josie and Hildo Rios Jr., and many other relatives and friends.
