Andrea Ramirez Ruiz, 47 of McGregor passed away on Monday, January 16, 2006 in Moody. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Father Hilaro officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Monday followed by visitation with the family. Friends are welcome to start coming by on Monday for signing the register book and paying final respect to Andrea.

Andrea was born on June 19, 1958 in Waco to Guadalupe and Concepion (Navarez) Ramirez. She married the love of her life, Lawrence Ruiz on August 2, 1986 in Waco. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lupe Ramirez and sister, Anita Ramirez, brother-in-law, Joe Hogeland and sister-in-law, Josie Ramirez.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Lawrence Edward Ruiz of McGregor; sons, SPC Christopher Steven Ruiz and wife Amanda Jo, and Xaiver Ramirez; daughters, Shenequa Ruiz and husband Shane Druppal, and Suzanna Ruiz; grandchildren, Madysen Christine Ruiz and Steven Andrew Druppal; sisters, Lola R. Jimenez of Waco, Modesta Chiricolla and husband Joey of Staten Island, NY, Mary M. Ramirez of Fort Worth, Savena Hogeland of Waco, Nellie Hedary of Waco, Elfie Hanson and husband Melvin of Moody and Joani Garcia of McGregor; brothers, Jesse Ramirez of Waco and Ismeal Ramirez and wife Adel of Waco; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Pallbearers will be Lenny Cano, Billy Carillo, Leo Olguin, Lupe Hedary, Robert Gonzales, and Alex Garcia.
