Andrew Samo

Andy was born to Andrew and Thelma Samo in Corpus Christi, TX. He was a longtime resident of Waco, TX where he spent the last 25 years of his life. As a retired Professional Engineer, he enjoyed many hobbies and tinkering around the house. He was a well-known problem solver, MacGyver approved!

Andy is survived by his daughter, Veronica Samo; his loving companion, Mary Arndt; his sister, Carol Fletcher; his sister, Charlotte Wyatt and husband, Jim; his brother, Van Samo and wife, Laurie; his many adored nieces and nephews; and his favorite hounds, Liam and Mila. He will be terribly missed, but is now peacefully healed in Heaven.

A celebration memorial will be held on Sunday, September 5 from 10am-1:30pm at the Hewitt Park Pavilion located at 801 S. Hewitt Drive in Hewitt, TX.

Please join the family and bring your best Andy stories to share in remembrance. Casual dress, after all he loved plain tees and flannel. Face masks will be provided.
