Anetha Hill

Anetha (Brown) Hill, 85, of Waco, TX, passed away on October 8, 2023. Visitation
will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at OakCrest Funeral Home
Chapel. Services will be at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at
OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Waco, Tx 76710. Burial to
follow at Reisel Cemetery.

On August 27, 1938, Anetha Hill was born to George A. Brown and Linnie
(McCutchen) Brown in Groesbeck, Tx. Anetha married Henry C. Hill in September
1953 and raised three children. She worked at Kirsch Window Treatment in Waco
and retired in 2001. She served as a children’s nursery worker at Bellmead First
Baptist Church and Elm Mott First Baptist Church for several years. Many may
remember her as “Granny Hill.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Linnie; husband, Henry C.
Hill; sister, Margie Ayers; brother, George L. Brown; sons-in-law, Roy Norman and
Kendall Holland; granddaughter, Deana Watson; and great-grandson, Kyle Coker.

Survivors include her children, Linda Norman, Debbie Hansen and husband, Robert, and
Karen Holland; grandchildren, Michael Watson, Melanie Kleindienst and husband,
John, Anetha (Suzanne) and husband, Austin Woodill, Krystal Coker and husband, Jon,
Kenny Holland and wife, Angelica, and Daniel Norman; great-grandchildren, Maddie
Watson, David Watson, Sean Kleindienst and wife, Lauren, MaKenna Kleindienst,
Kelsey West, Isaiah Glenn, Joshua Glenn, Annalee Woodill, Julie Coker, Emmie
Holland, Noah Holland, Bowen Holland, Jediah Norman, and Hadley Norman; great-
great-grandchildren, Dallas Kleindienst, and Abilene Kleindienst; and sister, Helen
Haggerty.
