Angelica Gutierrez, 46, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at her residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco, Texas.

The Blessed Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Angelica was born in Mexico to Marcos and Carmen Chavez, and she graduated from college there. She was a teacher in the public schools.

She was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

Her daughters:
Renee Stephanie Gutierrez and Darlin Alexandra Gutierrez, both of Waco

Her sisters:
Esperanza and Maria G. Chavez, both of Waco, and Bertha A. Munoz and husband Guadalupe of Mexico;

Brothers:
Marcos G. Chavez and wife, Elvia of Mexico, Roberto A. Chavez and wife, Juanita, of Waco, Gustavo Chavez and wife, Patricia of Mexico;

Sisters:
Carmen P. Barron and husband, Daniel of Waco, and Mara E. Thaemert and husband, Jeff, of Waco;

And 15 nieces and nephews.
