Angelita Riojas Rodriguez

Angelita Riojas Rodriguez passed away on December 5, 2022, in Waco Texas.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Sunday, December 11th, with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Monday, December 12, 2022.

Angelita was born October 21, 1928, to Juan D. Riojas and Beatrice Cardenas in Satin, Texas.
Angelita was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.

Angelita was an active member of Sacred Heart Church. She was a kindhearted woman, who loved to dance and enjoy life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and watching her Texas Rangers play. She will be remembered and missed for her strong faith and loving spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; Olivia Corley and Susie Villarrial, and beloved dog, Ginger.

She is survived by her daughter, Delores Trevino of Waco, Texas; and son, Robert and wife, Carolyn Rodriguez of Robinson, Texas; grandchildren, Jenia Moran and husband, Paul Fraga of Waco Texas, Christopher Rodriguez and wife, Angel of Waco, Texas, Megan Johnson and husband, Nathan of Robinson, Texas, and Marcus Rodriguez and wife, Jordan of Robinson, Texas; great-grandchildren Ashstyn Yruegas and husband, Juan of Dallas, Texas, Gaebriel Edwards and husband Casey of Fort Worth, Texas, Christopher Jr, Noah, Delilah, and Samuel Rodriguez of Waco, Texas, Angelo Moran, of Waco, Texas, Olivia and, Crew Johnson of Robinson Texas, Mila and, Brynn Rodriguez of Robinson Texas; great-great-grandchild, Abden Yruegas. Brothers and sister; Thomas Riojas, Frank Riojas, John Riojas, Julia Riojas, Joe Riojas, and Ralph Riojas.
Pallbearers will be, Marcus Rodriguez, Chris Rodriguez Sr, Noah Rodriguez, Chris Rodriguez Jr, Richard Perez, Gerald Villarrial and Juan Yruegas.

The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Angelita’s caregiver, Esmeralda Yruegas, the Staff at Baylor Scott and White ICU, Hospice, and the 4th floor nurses for providing excellent care during such a difficult time.
