Angie Day Booker, 33, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at her home in Waco.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Skinner officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visitation.
Angie was born November 28, 1972, in Conroe to James and Marcene (Bourne) Day, Sr. She graduated from the Conroe High School in 1990.
In 1998, she graduated from the Nursing Program at McLennan Community College. She had been a registered nurse in the Emergency Department of Providence Hospital for the past six years.
She will be remembered by her family as a devoted daughter and mother who loved her two children dearly. At Providence Hospital, she was well respected by her co-workers who admired her for her caring and efficient patient care. She had nerves of steel especially when things became chaotic in the emergency department.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Day, and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Rena Cannon.
She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Booker and Brianna Proctor, both of Waco; mother, Marcene West and husband, Grover of Granbury; sister, Racene Day of Austin and brother, James Day Jr. of Wichita, Kan.
Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers at Providence Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Trust Fund set up for her children, Bri and Kate, in care of OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX 76710.
