Ann Malpass

Ann Elizabeth Hale Malpass, 95, of Waco, Texas passed away on November 17, 2023, in Waco, TX. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, November 20, 2023, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 5420 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Jonesboro Cemetery, 2415 CR 194, Jonesboro, TX 76538, and will be officiated by Rev. Neal Matthews.

Ann was born in Waco, Texas to Neta and Ollie Hale on March 15, 1928. She attended Providence Nursing School in Waco. Ann was married to the late Gerald Dixon Malpass, Sr. on March 31, 1951. She was a registered nurse for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neta and Ollie Hale; spouse, Gerald Dixon Malpass, Sr.; brother, Ollie Kenneth Hale; and sisters, Audrey Hale Lord, Patsy Ruth Hale Kay, and Ora Louise Hale Qualls.

Ann is survived by sister, Pamela Hale Matthews and husband, Neal; children, Gerald D. Malpass, Jr. and wife, Janice, Nancy Elizabeth Malpass, William Hale Malpass and wife, Kristin, and Katy Malpass Wiswall; grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Malpass and husband, Ryan A. Lindauer, Mackenzie Malpass (Corbin), Matheson Malpass, Laura Elizabeth Schirm and husband, Ed, John Wiswall and wife Amanda, and Hanna Wiswall.
