Ann L. Witt, 83, passed away at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004, at St. Catherine's.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Juneroy Nugent officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation with her family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.

Ann was born May 13, 1920, in Aquilla, to Ran and Minnie (Terry) Montgomery. She was married February 28, 1954 to Eddie Witt, and they celebrated their Golden Anniversary this year.

For more than 30 years, Ann was a well-known waitress at Leslie's Chicken Shack on the Old Dallas Highway. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Ann was a great cook, and she enjoyed taking food to the sick. But what she enjoyed most was playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a son, Reggie Witt, and a brother, Monty Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie; daughter, Sherry A. Campbell and husband, Chuck, of Dallas; granddaughter, Christi Jones of Crawford; great grandson, Bryce Jones of Crawford; loving sister-in-law, Adaline Montgomery of Waco, and daughter-in-law, Pam Richardson of Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Gus Wiethorn, Kenneth Hix, Bob Boyett, Nick Paybals, Tommy Joe Montgomery, and Daniel Wiethorn.

Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Jones.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 800 W. Highway 6, Waco, TX 76712.
