Antonio Zavala

Antonio (Tony) Zavala, 49, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Albert Fuentes officiating.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with a memorial video.

Tony was born in Waco to Benito and Eva (Sillers) Zavala. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew, Francisco Olivarez.

He leaves four daughters, Chastity Gonzales and husband, Tino, Chantel Zavala, Alicia Perez and husband Hector, and Patricia Zavala; 13 grandchildren; Mary Becerra, mother of his children; 8 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Pallbearers will be Tino Gonzales, Hector Perez, Emiliano Olivarez, Max Vela, Joe Vela Jr., Gilbert Vela, Steve Becerra, and Stevie Becerra.

His grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
