Apolinar Martinez

Apolinar (Paul) Martinez passed away at his home on Friday July 8, 2022, at age 60.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Rita Martinez (Sanchez) of 35 years. They were married in Waco, Texas and had 6 children and 3 bonus children. Crystal and Jose Martinez of Mcallen, TX, Christina and Chris Riggins, Reva Martinez and Malcolm Bennett, Michael Martinez, Precious Martinez, and her life partner Charles (Chuck) Parker, Christopher Faulkner, MaryJane Marquez all of Waco, Texas and Anthony Faulkner of San Antonio, Texas. Paul had 14 G-babies, 4 Great grandchildren, 4 brothers, 5 sisters and lots of nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his son Apolinar (Pauly) Martinez Jr, Mother San Juana Carranza, Father Jose Martinez, Brothers Martin and Gilberto Martinez and sisters Margarita Vasquez and Guadalupe Martinez.

Paul was born in Chicago, IL on April 7, 1962. He graduated from Washington High School in South Bend, IN. After completing high school, he joined the US ARMY while on leave he meet his soul mate, his girlfriend, the love of his life Rita. Paul furthered his education when he graduated from TSTC with his associate degree in mechanical engineering. Paul enjoyed the outdoors he loved, fishing, camping, and flying kites. The one thing Paul enjoyed the most is being around his children, nieces and nephews they made him feel full of life.

Pallbearers are Aaron Zuniga, Rudy Sanchez III, Jesse Garcia, Lou Rodriguez, Domingo Delgado, Arturo Hernandez II, and Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Zuniga and Eddy Sanchez.
