Ashley Nicholas

Ashley Renee Nicholas. 52, of Waco, Texas, passed after a battle with cancer on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Providence Hospice.

She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on September 1, 1970, to Rodney and Neva Nicholas.
She graduated from Baylor University, 1992, in therapeutic recreation and held a Masters in counseling.

She served approximately 15 years at the Methodist Home in Waco, Texas. Her time with the Methodist Home as Activities Director held her highest affection. The combination of the people she met and the work accomplished generated a powerful hold in her memories and on her heart.

She moved to San Antonio where she worked for The Presa Community Center by offering services in the local community through their youth program. Ashley considered her time
spent in services to children to be her best work.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Vizsla, Beau.

She was survived by her parents Rodney and Neva Nicholas of Shreveport, Louisiana, her sibling Kelli Pylant and her spouse, Todd, of Fort Worth, Texas; and her sibling Marc Nicholas
and his spouse, Tayla, of Waco, Texas. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews: Bailey Pylant, Cade Pylant, Ainsley Pylant, Annabelle Nicholas, William Nicholas, and Lilley Nicholas.

Their memories of her are full of adventure.
