On Sunday morning, January 8, 2006, Audrey Mae Glenn Kirk went home to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by her daughters at her home. As she made her journey to Heaven, she arrived there on our father's birthday. Happy Birthday Daddy.

Mrs. Kirk was born on March 29, 1931 in Chilton, Texas to Edgar and Dorothy Glenn. She attended schools in West and Aquilla.

Mrs. Kirk was employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. and retired from Cox's Department Store. After her retirement she traveled with her husband in his employment with Sears Roebuck and Co.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Glenn and Dorothy Glenn Pate; two brothers, Alvin and Charles Glenn; and her husband of 53 years, Cleburne H. Kirk, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters: Judy Berkheimer and husband, Dan, Pam McKown and husband, Chris, all of China Spring; two sisters, Linda Byrd and husband, David of China Spring, and Lucille Machan of Bellmead; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Our Mother kept her faith and fought an incredible fight. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the OakCrest Funeral Hone, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with the family present.

Funeral services will be conducted in the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 with burial to follow in the China Spring Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be sons-in-law, Dan Berkheimer and Chris McKown and grandsons, Jason Harwell, Josh Harwell, Justin Stump and Jeremy Schlickeisen.

The family will be at 193 Morning Star Cr., China Spring, Texas.
