Mr. George Reyna, Jr.

Baldomero George Reyna, Jr., 71, of Waukegan, Il., passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at St. Francis Catholic Church with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
George was born in Waco. He served in the Marines during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart. Afterwards, he worked at Dominick's grocery, where he retired after 30 years.
George is preceded in death by his wife, Elida Reyna; parents, George Reyna, Sr. and Blaza Perez; brothers, Johnny, Joe, and Rudy Reyna; sister, Connie Hill; granddaughter, Natalie Melendez; and step-mother, Mary Reyna.
George is survived by his children, Dora Reyna, Rachel Reyna, and Vincent (Gloria) Reyna; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Antonia Cervantez, Victoria Hernandez, Gloria Garcia, all of Waco, TX, Eva Amador, of Mesquite, TX, Bertha (Enrique) Eveline, and Lupe (Luis) Luna, both of Waukegan; and brothers, Rey Fernandez of Waukegan and Manuel (Karen) Perez of Phoenix; a host of nieces and nephews; and man's best friend, Kayley.
