Barbara Prause

Barbara Ann Prause, 68, of Valley Mills passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 surrounded by her family.
Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Sellers officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Barbara was born in Waco to Lonnie Henry Christian and Mary Katherine Penton Christian.
She was an incredible example of a Christian woman, mother, mother-in-law and friend. She was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired Mail Carrier and remained active in the National Rural Mail Carriers until her death as a facilitator and voting delegate. She was also the owner of Country Road Upholstery.
Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband Sammy.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Jackson, sons Mark and Mike Prause; sister Kathy Christian; son -in-law Edward Jackson; daughter-in-law Melanie Prause; grandchildren Sheridan Nicole Prause, Cassie Dianne Jackson, Kyle Edward Jackson, Josie Christian Jackson, Jay Samuel Jackson, Kris-Ann Jean Jackson aand many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be David Prause, Johnny Thompsom, Gary Stokes, Al Smith, Tommy Barron, William Dickson, Gary Kimbrough. Honorary pallbearers will be James Prause, Nick Pocock, Rodney Yarbrough, Jerry Prause, Bob Edwards, Bob Rieble, Danny Reible and Charles Prause.
She loved her family and friends dearly and was a shining example for all of us.

CEMETERY AND CHURCH
Take China Spring Rd. (N. 19th St. becomes FM 1637 to Wortham Bend Road)
Turn right on Wortham Bend Road at the traffic light.
Go 7 miles – you will cross over Childress Creek Bridge – go about 1.5 miles further and begin to look for small sign on right: "Oak Grove Baptist Church" - Turn right at that sign and go half mile to the church.
Cemetery behind the church.
