Beatrice Martinez Barron, 71 of Arlington TX formally of Waco TX. Passed away June 18, 2009 in a Arlington hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Soler officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mrs. Barron was born in Chilton TX to Jesus Martinez and Anita Navejar. Beatrice was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a joyful and a giving person who was full of life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pauline Torres; sisters,
Rosie Martinez, Theodora Deluna, Teresa Vela, Lupe Villarreal; and brother Rudy Martinez.
Beatrice is survived by husband, Richard A. Barron; son Leo Torres Jr. and daughter Josie Brunson; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and sisters; Eva Deleon, Margie Sanchez, Linda Morales, Stella Montelongo, and Becky Galindo. Brothers; Jesse Martinez, Ramon Martinez, and David Martinez.
Pallbearers will be her nephews; Joe Victor Martinez, Rudy Martinez Jr., Ryan Morales, Jaime Villarreal; grandsons; Juan Torres and Marcus Castilleja. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Vasquez and Craig Brunson.
