[b]Obituary Information:[/b]
Bernice Virginia Fisher, 76, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2003, in Corsicana.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. J.E. Jean officiating. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque (Located right across the street from the Heart of Texas Fair Complex).
Bernice was born September 14, 1927, in Eddy to Oran and Audrey (Beard) Conaway.
She married Albert J. Fisher in Marlin in 1945. She was a retired garment factory engineer who worked at J.M. Woods Manufacturing and Wolf Manufacturing in Waco.
She was a member of Connally Free Will Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler who was a member of Waco Bowling Association for 35 years.
Bernice unselfishly loved everyone, and always gave generously of herself. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed life to its fullest.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Albert J. Fisher of Waco; son, Albert Wayne Fisher and wife Frances of Corsicana; grandsons, Albert Gregory Fisher and wife Jana of Corsicana, and Kevin Wayne Fisher of Corsicana; two great-granddaughters, Kasey Fisher and Alexandra Fisher of Corsicana, and a sister, Irene Crosby and husband William of Waco.
Memorials may be made to Connally Free Will Baptist Church, 2200 Air Base Rd., Waco, 76705.
Pallbearers will be Michael Crosby, Daniel Crosby, Garry Jennings, Jason Jennings, Dan Pickerill, and Ed Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Wolf Manufacturing.
The family especially thanks the Heritage Oaks Retirement Center in Corsicana for their care.
