Bertha Baker

Bertha R. Baker, 96, passed away Sunday in Waco.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father David Liebham and Father Patrick Ebner officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with rosary at 7 p.m.

Bertha was born in Shriner, Texas, and moved to Waco in the 1940s. She was a housewife, and longtime member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughter, Madeline Kosler of Waco; son, David C. Poole Jr. of Houston; grandchildren, Raquel Young and husband, Rev. John Young, of Fishkill, NY, and Darla Tolliver and husband, Brent of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Abby and Emma Young and Zoe and Hadyn Tolliver.

The family especially thanks Hillcrest Hospice and Crestview Nursing home for their loving care.
