Betty Campbell, 85, of Waco, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, after an unexpected illness. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, at OakCrest Funeral Home by Rev. Craig Klempnauer. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Born Betty Jean Loafman on July 20, 1930 to Ernest and Fannie in Coleman, Texas, she moved to Waco where she met and married the love of her life, Charles Campbell, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her only son, Billy Campbell, and grandson, Ronnie Campbell.
She is survived by her sister, Ernestine Yarbrough of Plano; a granddaughter, Rhonda Combs and husband Gary of Waco; grandsons, Andy and Joshua; daughter-in-law, Kaye Campbell of Eddy; great-grandchildren, Mikeal Wyatt of Waco, Anna-marie Wyatt of China Spring, Lindsie and Lacie Campbell; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly.
