Betty Hollingsworth

Betty Joyce Hollingsworth passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 18 at Oakcrest Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Betty was born May 17, 1949 in Waco, TX to Clyde and Vera Pack. She had one sister, Barbara and three brothers, Spencer, Tarey, and Steven.

Betty was a loving and caring person who opened her arms and home to family members, strangers, and even co-workers who needed a place to stay. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren during the holidays and family gatherings.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Vera Pack; brother, Tarey Pack; and son-in-law, Willie Dee Overby, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Hollingsworth; son, Kevin Hollingsworth; daughters, Christy Frazier and husband, Robbie, Kay Cruz and husband Brian, Deanna Rodriquez and husband Nick; 10 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; brothers, Spencer and Steven Pack; and sister, Barbara Robelia.
