Betty Padgett Davis
June 4, 1930 - November 30, 2021
Betty was born in Cameron, Texas on June 4, 1930 and passed away in Waco on November 30, 2021.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 6, at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating.
She was married 64 years to her beloved husband, Howard Davis who passed away in 2011.
Betty is preceded in death by husband, parents, Otis and Evie Padgett; Brothers, Dwight Padgett and Willis Padgett; Sisters, Marie Smith, FayeNell Bridgeman, and June Winter; and a special nephew, Michael Sparks.
Her Family
Betty is survived by her only child, Dawn Lynn and husband Jeffrey; Grandsons, Justin Lynn, Colton Lynn and wife Chelsea; and Great Grandsons, Luke and Jake Lynn. Also survived by her special niece, Kim Richter.
Her Biography
Betty was a very talented singer and lover of music. She played in a country band for many years. She knew every hymn and more songs than could be counted.
She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family and friends were top priority.
She was born Baptist and was a Christian from a very young age. Always having a happy and positive attitude, Betty showed her faith in the Lord.
Betty left a positive mark on many lives.
Our family knows she is now with her beloved husband and parents with the Lord.
