Betty Piazza
Betty Jean Webster Piazza , 79, of Waco, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 in a local nursing facility surrounded by her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Rochester, NY, at a later date.
Visitation with her family will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, January 13, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visitation.
Betty was born October 21, 1928 in Dallas to T.Y. and Maudie (McKay) DeLoach, who both preceded in death.
Betty was a great mom, a wonderful wife, and was actively involved in the First Presbyterian Church where she and her husband, Joseph, were married 24 years ago. She was admired and deeply loved by many friends. We will all miss her.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughter, Paula Rockcastle and husband David; step-children, Russell Piazza, Kathy Haik and husband Phil, Joyce Horton and husband Chris, Charles Webster Jr. and wife Wanda, and Judie Carlisi, and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Providence Hospice.
