Beloved mother, sister and wife, Beverly Ann Hill Blankenship was called home by our Lord on April 19, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, in the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel. Her nephews, Pastors David Booker and Brett Spivey will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park North.

Visitation with her family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. A memorial video of her life will be shown during the visitation.

Beverly was born June 11, 1943, in Waco to Sam and Opal (Bridges) Hill. She graduated from Waco High School. She worked for 25 years at Central Forwarding (later called Central Transportation System) as the Executive Secretary and Human Resource Manager.

She married Clyde W. Blankenship on June 4, 1977, in Robinson. They made their home in Hewitt for over 20 years where she active in the community and served on the Hewitt Park Board.

In 1996, Beverly and Clyde embarked on their adventure of RV full-timing and spending time traveling throughout the United States. In 1998, they built a home at Lake Belton.

Beverly is remembered for leaving a trail of hand-painted "ladybug" rocks everywhere she visited, making friends easily and planting those friendships in deep soil, her love of flowers and exploring new places, and most of all for her ability in finding the fun and laughter in unexpected places and times, which will be terribly missed by all her loved ones. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Morris and Opal Irene Hill.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 26 years, Clyde W. Blankenship; son, Mark Darrell Stahr and his wife, Isela Stahr of San Jose, California; daughter, Staci Amanda Stahr of San Marcos, Texas; grandson, Brandon Stahr; stepson John Blankenship and his wife Shirley of Eddy, TX ; stepson, Darrell Blankenship of Waco; sister Sue Spivey and husband Charles of Lake Belton, TX; sister Cathy Lawless of Waco; brother Mike Hill of Deer Park, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Booker, Michael Booker, Mike Hill, Brett Spivey, Darrell Blankenship and John Blankenship.

Memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
