Beverly Cessac Dyson, 79, of Speegleville died January 6, 2005.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, Jan 8, 2005 at the OakCrest Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Joe Bailey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Friday, Jan 7, at OakCrest Funeral Home chapel. 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mrs. Dyson was born June 26, 1925, in Abbeville, La. and had lived in Speegleville since 1983.

Prior to moving to this area, the Dyson's spent many happy years working as partners in Dyson Marine Services, Rockport. They were able to combine their love of the coastal waters and petroleum industry related businesses with their families, making each one of them an integral part of everything they accomplished. In addition they spent countless hours together working in their church and many related ministries.

Mrs. Dyson was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse Cessac and Sarah White, and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband, L. M. Dyson, Sr., a son, L. M., Jr. and wife, Doralyn Dyson, daughters, Sarah Dyson and husband, Ron Whitman, and Judy Ducharme. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbears will be L. M. Dyson, III, Peter Dyson, Patton Lee Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins, Shannon Jenkins, and Ron Whitman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Speegleville Baptist Church building fund.
