Billene Simmons

Billene Blansit Simmons, of Waco, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 54. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday, March 18 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Saturday, March 19 at 10am at Oakwood Cemetery.

Billene was born May 9, 1967, to Billie Earl and Bertha Lanelle (Poole) Blansit. She was preceded in death by her parents; her nephews, Rick and Ricky Marmino and Chris Ordones; and niece, Jamie Marmino.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, David Thomas Simmons, Jr.; her son, David Earl Simmons and Tiffany Kinney; sisters, Earlene Wiese (her twin), Nellene Ordones, and Janice M. Davis; brother, Billie Earl Blansit; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
