Billie Huffman

Billie Joyce Huffman 89, of Deer Park formerly of Waco passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 in a Pasadena, Texas hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 31 at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6-8pm Monday, May 30 in the Oak Room at OakCrest Funeral Home.
She was born April 20, 1927 in West, Texas to Harlan and Nina Driskell . She moved to Waco and found the love of her life, Dorman Huffman. Dorman and Billie were married in March 1950. They remained in Waco where they raised their four children. Mrs. Huffman worked at the Health Camp Restaurant for 20 years until her retirement. She loved playing her Bingo, loved to jitterbug and most of all her family.
Mrs. Huffman is preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and one brother.
She is survived one brother, Harlan Driskell of Waco; three sons; Harlan King and wife Elaine, Danny Huffman, Randy Huffman and wife Brenda all of Waco; one daughter Brenda Nichols and husband Johnny of Pearland, Texas; she is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren .
